Yes, I'm procrastinating again. It's my imouto-chan's birthday today. Not D, my biological imouto. Happy Birthday, Bonne Fète, and all that stuff, Vee-chan. I doubt you even READ my blog, but Happy Birthday anyway. I hope you got the card I sent. Sorry I can't be there. Damned Calculus. *shakes fist in the general direction of her calculus study notes*

I am SO sick of Calculus, and studying in general it's not funny.I wish I could just quit. I can't though. If I do, I'll fail. But I can't really STUDY since I have zero concentration. Hence my little bout of procrastination. As I type this, I am drinking a coffee in hopes that my first dose of caffeine of the day will help me wake up enough to concentrate. I still haven't found that thing for my glasses. It's been nothing but contacts for the past few days. It's not that I don't like contacts, it's just that when you're only waking up and GETTING UP so you can study, with nothing else to do for three days, glasses are a lot less of a pain.

This isn't fair. I want to write. I want to draw. I want to redo that pic of Ten with my Year End dress... maybe add in a Nakami with Julia's dress. I want to do that screencapping from Shining Force and make another attempt at drawing Gort. I can't though. Not today. Today I have to study calculus... but in 24 hours that will all be over, and I'll be able to do all those things. As long as I pack first. In 48 hours I'll be back home again, and I'll stay there for four months.

Anywhoo, I've finished my coffee, so off I go.

"My artistic liscence was suspended."

Once again, a note before I go back to productivity:

They have officially shut off the water to my residence. Apparently a sewage pipe burst somewhere in the building. That means no showers, to brushing teeth, and to use the bathroom, I have to trek over to the building that the university's main cafeteria is in, and go there. Damn you, pipe! I don't want to be dirty! I want to be able to brush my teeth, and cook my food.. half of the food I have requires water in some part of the preparation. *twitch*

What's more, one of the little nose-pad thingies is missing from my glasses. It'd be a simple matter to pop it back in if I could find it, but I can't! ARGH!!!

Before I start doing something productive again, a State-of-the-Asuka update.

It is now exam season, and I've written one thus far. Algebra, last wednesday at 9:00 am. I think it went well. I then went home for easter. Yes, I managed it. Contrary to what I'd expected, I got quite a bit of physics done. (198 questions for the online review? Overkill, anyone?!) So here's my weekend:

  • Thursday: Studied physics. Made equation sheet. Got new mattress for bed at home.
  • Friday: Did some practice probs for physics. Put the new mattress ON the bed.
  • Saturday: More physics. Went shopping with mom, and she bought me my food for this week. Yay mom!
  • Sunday: Was easter. I got chocolate... since my mom already delivered my my basket when she came up. Younger Sister got a copy of Spirited Away. We watched it (in english) then went over to cousin's place for dinner. Older Cuz complained... we watched some snippets of random Gundam eps of various series, ate, exchanged SARS horror-stories and so on.
  • Monday. I packed. Hopped the greyhound back to campus, and ended up stuck in front of a whiny, noisy little brat of a two-year-old who did NOT shut up the whole four-and-a-half hours. >.< I did manage to spot another gal from my rez, and sat beside her.

And that's it. The bus ride is now over, and I am once again sitting in front of my own comp, which unlike the one at home, is not a piece of shit. Now I should stop procrastinating, and hope that my roommate wakes up soon so I can scan in that pic I drew before I left... use it to procrastinate some more later on.
