Yo.

There's a guy in my computer science class who looks JUST LIKE Takehito Koyasu. I'm not kidding. Exactly like him. Eartails and everything. Except this guy has nice teeth. (sorry) He sits a few rows in front of me.

The students union here rents a schoolbus to run shuttles to the mall and back for the students. I went today to go grocery shopping. Guess who ended up sitting beside me on the way back? That's RIGHT! Koyasu-clone. It was all I could do to keep from drooling, I swear.

There's only one problem: He's chinese, and doesn't speak much english. Or at least, I haven't heard him speak much english beyond the "sorry" he gave me (^-^) when he pushed over the groceries belonging to the gal sitting across the row from me and sat down. He didn't say anything else, and I must admit, I checked him out a few times. But he looks like TAKEHITO-SAMA! How could I not?

That's all the obsessing I have for today.

I just got back from class and am having lunch.

Let me tell you, you don't know what boredom IS until you've sat through a calculus class with "Dr. Derivative." The man stands there, writing on his transparencies and drones on like a robot. He teaches my first class of the day, which starts at the ungodly hour of 8:00 am. I fought valiantly to keep my eyes open. Barely succeeding, I bought a coffee so I would remain awake during my next two classes in the same room.

My Physics prof is the Powerpoint King. He has ALL his lectures on powerpoint, and zips through them as fast as he can talk. You have to write like a madperson to have it all done before he switches to the next slide. Argh.

In the long stretch of hallway commonly referred to as "the bowling alley" by the students here, there were tables set up for all the universities clubs and societies and so on. I walked down the hallway seeing what there was there when to my amazement I found the "Anime and Manga Association" which, I learned "Gets together on fridays to watch Anime." Which is good. It'll be more than I can get my hands on as is. I signed up. I brought with me:

They had a TV set up on the table, and Slayers sub was playing. I honestly didn't know that that particular club existed, but it does, so WO-HOO!

Hey.

I saw "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone" for the third time last night, but with an odd perspective. You know the scene where Hagrid calls for all the first years off the train to follow him so they can take the boat to Hogwarts? Well I was watching it in Rez last night, and one of my floormates came up with:

"HAH! They're getting Froshed!"
at that part. >.< We cracked up. I honestly never thought of it that way. Harry Potter and Frosh Week... what sort of pranks would the seniors pull on the first years at Hogwarts? Canary Creams? Ton-tongue toffee? I hate to think about it.
