Well, I have a few things sorted out.

I will not be working three weeks straight. My boss put up a few Help Wanted signs on friday, and he's found my replacement. She's working days as of next week monday, and I'm doing weekends as of next week, which is a two-day cut in hours. At least it's only for two weeks. After that, I'll be doing days at the Clinic for a couple of weeks, then I move back to school. (That can't come soon enough)

I did end up visiting Oma on Saturday, at around 2:00pm. . . surprise, surprise, she dragged me off to her favorite restaurant on the condition that I drive. Didn't get home till about 6:30 and Oma talked the entire time.

The Other Brat at MegaWraps is being fired. He didn't show up for work sunday, and didn't call, and on saturday he did next to nothing... this is not the first time I come in on monday to find the Boss complaining about him.

Three new SF portraits are up at RAF (I should link to there soon). Gort, Lyle and Tao v 2.1 (version 2.0 never got scanned... this is 2.1 and not 3.0 cuz it only has minor changes from 2.0)

I also drew a couple of Jake's charas, and becuase I was bored, imitated the stick-figure skeletons of his version and my version, pointed out where I thought he went wrong, and what I did to correct it. I got the androgynous child done, the Biseinen with Umbrella, and I did the stick-figures for "CSI Woman"... Jake knows who I'm talking about.

Oh, one more thing. I made an attempt at SF-ifying that Slayers-esque gal I drew ages ago, but I'm not too happy with it, so I'm trying again. Another thing I want to do is to colour that B&W of Xelloss I did, and put it up on my wall when I get to rez.. I'll have to buy plastic covers to keep it in.

I know, long time no blog. So here is what's up with me.

- My fingertips hurt. I think that the plastic gloves at MegaWraps are warping them somehow. They're dry and cracked, but the rest of my hands aren't. What's up with that? (And before you ask, they're made of polyethelene, not latex)

- Mako said she was going to call sometime, but she didn't. Or if she did, I was at the clinic at the time and no one told me. Dang. Well, I have the house to myself this weekend, so I'll give her a shout sometime today.

- I have an extra dog this weekend. He's a stupid little pekinese named Buddy, and my own two don't get along with him very well. Buddy keeps trying to get around to the wrong end of my two, which causes Ginger to bark and Cayenna to growl. They then go downstairs and sit in their usual spots. Buddy can't do stairs. That said, he either doesn't mind, or is oblivious. He's just thrilled when one of us (Me and my dogs) go upstairs or outside or something. AND he has to be pilled, too. This time, the pills are to control seizures, not weight, like with Ging. (Ginger has a problem with her thyroid glands we need to give her pills for)

- It looks like I'm going to have to work 21 days in a row (Three weeks with no weekends) Cuz the other brat who works at MegaWraps is gone. Damn him!

- Plans for today: Drawing and scanning SF portraits, and possibly a visit to Oma's. Mom hints at me to visit Oma every time she goes away for the weekend and I get stuck with the dogs to go visit Oma.

- Lacking anything else planned for this evening, I'll just nuke a TV dinner and watch a DVD picked randomly from the pile in mine and my sister's rooms. I checked the TV guide and there doesn't look to be a whole lot on. OR I could just watch Azumanga or something.

Happy belated Canada Day. That's right, our great country is 136 years and one day old.

We spent the day at Ching park. Today I'm back at work.

I sent Mako's package today. I hope it gets there soon.

I got a palm pilot, dutch food cook book, 4-cup coffee maker and filters, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and a music CD for my birthday.OH, and a new How To Draw Manga on fight scenes. And an amusing email. Thankies family, biological and E-dopted! I appreciate everything!

That's pretty much it. That's all I do these days. Work work work.
